WW2 paratrooper collection

The US & British paratroopers were the first specialized troops landing in European (in Normandy during D-Day: operation Overlord: July 1944) and later on Dutch grounds (operation Market Garden: August 1944). They landed with their parachutes and with gliders with full gear and specialized equipement (eg. specialized dropping containers and leg bags to carry weapons & ammunition, folding handcarts and scooters), to operate far behind enemy lines. These airborne operations were the largest in its size.
